Job Description

Title:  Fractional Controller / Client Manager

Location:  Charlottesville, VA 

Schedule:  Hybrid in-person and remote 

Status:  Full-time

Compensation:  Expected Salary Range ($100,000 - $115,000) + Quarterly Bonus Program + YE Profit Sharing Bonus

What will I do?

In this role, you will directly support the advisory practice and utilize your exceptional analysis and controlling skills to serve as a key financial advisor to the client. You will design and build creative, pragmatic solutions to client challenges and synthesize insights from financial and other transactional data. 


As part of the team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the monthly close process

  • Reviewing and interpreting financial statements

  • Managing client onboarding projects

  • Assisting in the design of client financial and operational reporting metrics

  • Supporting the advisory team with your analytics, creativity, wisdom and wit

Required Technical Skills:

  • Thorough understanding of all three financial statements

  • At least 5 years of progressive analytics experience

  • Expert-level spreadsheet skills

  • Financial acumen rooted in an in-depth knowledge of accounting

  • Experience with QuickBooks Online

  • Degree in finance, accounting, or equivalent work experience
