Website Terms of Use — Forward Financial Intelligence (fwdfi.com)
1. Acceptance and Scope

These Website Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of fwdfi.com (the "Site"), operated by Forward Financial Intelligence, Inc. ("FFI," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
These Terms apply only to the Site. They do not govern bookkeeping, controller, HR, payroll, advisory, or other services FFI provides to clients. Those services are governed solely by a separate written agreement signed by FFI and the client. Using the Site or contacting us does not create a client relationship.
2. Site Content and Intellectual Property
The Site and its content, including text, graphics, logos, photographs, and the Forward Financial Intelligence name and marks, are owned by FFI or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and print Site pages for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, republish, or distribute Site content, or use our name or logos, without our written permission.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
Use the Site for any unlawful purpose
Scrape, crawl, or harvest content or information from the Site by automated means
Submit spam, false information, or malicious code through Site forms
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems, or interfere with its operation
Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone
4. Contact Forms and Job Applications
Inquiries. Information you send through the Site's contact forms is used to respond to you. Please do not submit Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, or other sensitive or confidential information through the Site. Sending an inquiry does not make you a client or create any duty of confidentiality beyond what our Privacy Policy describes.
Job applications. If you apply for a position at FFI through the Site, you confirm that the information you submit is accurate and yours to share. Submitting an application does not guarantee an interview or employment. Job postings may change or be withdrawn at any time without notice.
5. No Professional Advice
Site content is for general information only. It is not accounting, tax, legal, HR, or financial advice, and you should not rely on it for decisions about your organization. Advice from FFI is provided only under a signed client agreement. We try to keep the Site accurate and current, but content may be incomplete or out of date and may change without notice.
6. Privacy and Third-Party Links
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal information through the Site, including contact form submissions, job applications, and cookies. It is part of these Terms.
The Site may link to third-party websites, such as LinkedIn. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.
7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FFI WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE, SITE DOWNTIME, OR THIRD-PARTY SITES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED $100.
This section does not limit FFI's obligations to clients under their signed agreements.
8. Governing Law, Changes, and Contact
Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Charlottesville, Virginia.
Changes. We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version on the Site with a new effective date. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept them.
General. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
